SIGN MINISTRY

At least twice a month a group will take signs to one of the major intersections of our area to publish gospel messages to those passing by. We often have opportunity to distribute gospel material as well.

OPEN AIR PREACHING AND EVANGELISM

The Lord has encouraged the church through a brother whom God has called to commit his life to open air preaching and ministry of the Word. From time to time others will join in passing out literature and engaging souls with the gospel. This ministry takes place primarily in the San Antonio region, but also includes trips to other cities and events.

PRISON MINISTRY

This ministry occurs weekly in the Dominguez Sate Jail. Presently (2021) there are 2 meetings each week in different faith based dorms. Approximately 100 men are being ministered to each week in a study through Romans.

In addition, there is letter writing and personal visits made to men who show interest. We seek to direct men to local churches upon their release.

DAILY WITNESS

Community Baptist Church is encouraged to look for opportunities daily to engage souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We provide materials for the saints to use as they go about their daily lives. We encourage an evangelistic mindset.
