Sunday School hour is from 9:45am-10:45am Sunday mornings. Teachers and groups are given below:
Various Speakers - Adult
In adult Sunday school, ages 13 and up, one of our men will teach on various subjects from a Biblical perspective. We believe that our young teens should join the adults in order to encourage them toward adulthood. This time of study is meant to grow the congregation in the knowledge of advanced biblical truths and in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
David Tagawa/Delbert Brown - Ages 9-12
This class guides older children through biblical curriculum and is meant to increase their knowledge of biblical truths in an engaging way. Ultimately, the hope is that through this time of study, the children will come to see the greatness of God and their need of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
JoAnn Davis/Susan Brown - Ages 6-8
The goal for this class is to increase in the knowledge of the Bible and how it's truths are pertinent to them. There is an emphasis on the attributes of God..who He is, what He is like, and how we should act towards Him. We seek to always have a gospel emphasis. Currently we are studying the life of Christ. We are pointing out His humanity and how He is like us, but also His deity and how much as sinners we need Him. The children have a verse to memorize each week that goes along with the lesson, as well as a catechism question and answer to memorize. The catechism answer is always a particular verse from the Bible.
Grace & Abigail Davis/Debbie Mireles - Ages 3-5
The goal for this class is to teach the children basic truths of scripture from the stories of the Bible. The hope is that in time God will help these lessons to become a precious part of their lives.
NOTE: at times we combine the younger classes when there are insufficient children to warrant 2 classes.
